CNA Interview: New Harbour Crafts must be Electric by 2030

MPA has set a new directive that all new harbour craft will have to be fully electric, be capable of using pure biodiesel (B100), or be compatible with net-zero fuels such as hydrogen by 2030.

By 2030, all new harbour craft must be fully electric or be able to use cleaner fuels such as hydrogen. This is part of a push for all harbour craft and pleasure craft to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

Our Shipyard Manager and Ferry Captain shared their insights and the benefits on harbour craft electrification in an interview with Channel NewsAsia (CNA).
